When measuring for the width, measure your window horizontally in three places from outside edge to edge of the window frame: top, middle, and bottom. Record the narrowest measurement, and the size you order will come with a 1/2-inch deduction to ensure a proper fit in your windowsill.

For the height, measure from top to bottom, and this will be the size to order. The blind can be mounted both inside and outside the window frame. Inside mount means completely installing the blind inside the window frame, while an outside mount requires adding at least 1/2-inch or more to your measurement to ensure coverage of the desired area.
